Accessibility Statement

Last updated: 1 February 2026

Our Commitment

Saint Visage Dental Group is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards across our website and digital services.

Accessibility Standards

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning, and neurological disabilities.

Measures We Have Taken

  • Semantic HTML: Our pages use proper heading structures, landmark regions, and ARIA labels to support screen readers and assistive technologies.
  • Keyboard navigation: All interactive elements on our website can be accessed and operated using a keyboard alone.
  • Colour contrast: We maintain sufficient contrast ratios between text and background colours across our website to aid readability.
  • Alternative text: All meaningful images include descriptive alternative text. Decorative images are appropriately marked.
  • Responsive design: Our website is designed to work across different screen sizes, devices, and orientations, including support for text resizing up to 500%.
  • Form accessibility: All form fields include visible labels, error messages are clearly communicated, and form validation provides helpful guidance.
  • Link purpose: All links are described clearly, either through their text content or through accessible labelling, so users can understand where they lead.

Known Limitations

While we strive for comprehensive accessibility, some content may not yet be fully accessible:

  • Some older PDF documents may not be fully accessible. We are working to remediate these and provide accessible alternatives upon request.
  • Embedded third-party content (such as maps and external booking systems) may have accessibility limitations outside our direct control.
  • Some video content may not yet have closed captions or audio descriptions. We are working to add these progressively.

Accessibility in Our Practices

Our commitment to accessibility extends beyond our digital presence. Many of our practices offer:

  • Step-free access and wheelchair-accessible treatment rooms.
  • Hearing loop systems in reception areas.
  • Large-print and easy-read versions of patient information leaflets on request.
  • BSL interpretation services available with advance notice.
  • Staff trained in supporting patients with additional needs.

Please contact your local practice in advance to discuss any specific accessibility requirements.
