Dental Implant Development Programme

Everything in our Associate Development Programme — principal-led mentorship, a structured clinical foundation and earnings that grow year on year — plus two further years specialising in implant dentistry. Over five years you progress from your first mentored year to advanced, full-arch implant practice. Places are highly selective — the implant specialism is typically offered by invitation to dentists excelling on the Associate Development Programme.

The associate foundation, plus implant specialism

Your first three years mirror our Associate Development Programme — a complete clinical foundation built on principal-led mentorship. Years four and five then specialise you in implant dentistry, from your first guided placement to full-arch rehabilitation, mentored on real, paid cases.

Foundation (Yrs 1–3)

  Principal-led mentorship
 Restorative, endodontics & surgery
 Growing private treatment

Implant Specialism (Yrs 4–5)

 Guided & complex placement
 Bone grafting & full-arch
 A certified implant portfolio

A place is earned, not just applied for

Places on the Implant Development Programme are highly selective. We typically invite dentists who are already performing strongly on our Associate Development Programme — clinicians who have shown the commitment, clinical growth and patient care a specialism demands.

New and overseas dentists are welcome to register their interest; the strongest candidates are invited to progress into the implant specialism.

Everything You Need to Know

How long is the programme?
It runs over five years: a three-year clinical foundation (Mentorship, Year 1 and Year 2) followed by two years specialising in implant dentistry (Years 3 and 4), preceded by a structured induction.
What earnings can I expect?
Earnings grow with your skills — from £100,000–150,000 in your mentorship year to £300,000+ by your final implant year. Figures combine NHS, private and implant treatment and are indicative of associates on our programme.
Is this a job or a course?

Both — it is a paid associate position with structured mentorship and training built in. There are no upfront training fees.

Do I need previous implant experience to apply?

No. The programme is designed for dentists who want to build implant skills from a foundational level, with the specialism beginning in Year 3.

Who is this programme suitable for?

New graduates and overseas dentists looking to build a career in UK dentistry and progress into implant dentistry.

Do you provide support with UK registration?
Yes. We assist with GDC registration, IELTS where required, visa applications and NHS Performers List registration — fees covered for qualifying applicants.
Will I work with real patients during the programme?

Yes. Training is hands-on throughout, with supervised experience on real patient cases from an early stage.

What courses are funded?

Funded CPD and postgraduate courses including implant assessment and planning, guided surgery, bone grafting/GBR, full-arch rehabilitation, restorative dentistry and digital dentistry.

Can I progress into implant-focused private dentistry after the programme?
