GDC Registration

We will work closely with you to help you obtain the necessary documentation required for preparing your application with the General Dental Council. Once accepted, you will receive your GDC Registration Number enabling you access to legally practice dentistry anywhere within the United Kingdom.

Health and Care Worker Visa

Since Brexit, all overseas nationals wishing to work as dentists within the United Kingdom are strictly limited to working within dental practices licensed to sponsor visas. Saint Visage will therefore ensure that the clinic you are placed in has the capacity to sponsor your visa and help you with your application too.

Practicing NHS Dentistry

To practice under an NHS Contract in England, you will need a Performer Number. The application process varies from case to case depending on where you graduated and your level of clinical knowledge. However, Saint Visage will provide you with the necessary assistance and guidance to attain your registration on the NHS Performers List.

Guaranteed Earnings

Saint Visage can guarantee each associate minimum earnings each year based on their level of experience. In addition to the guaranteed minimum earnings, each associate will take home a percentage of any private dental work completed.

Why choose our Training Programme?

We’re dentists too

Unlike recruitment agencies, we are dental professionals too. We understand the dental industry with complete clarity and can therefore manage clinical expectations and help improve the overall performance of each dentist.

Dedicated Communication

To provide the highest quality service, we assign a recruitment coordinator to personally handle each case and answer any questions you may have. We offer all our applicants this dedicated 24-hour service via WhatsApp.

Competitive Contracts

The SV dental group can guarantee minimum earnings each year to our associates approved for our development programme. We offer favourable terms and ensure everyone is happy before any commitments are made.

Inexperienced Dentists

This programme is tailor-made for dentists who have little to zero experience. We focus on developing each associate by assigning them an experienced mentor who will guide and educate them clinically whilst providing them with training and courses.

Free Mentorship and Training

It is common for inexperienced graduates to pay their mentor anywhere between £600 to £1200 per month until they are fully registered on the NHS Performers List. We will cover this expense for the associates on our programme.

Exclusive Access to Courses

Saint Visage will extend each associate exclusive access to a range of dental courses at huge, discounted rates including Invisalign, Facial Aesthetics, Implants, Smile Makeovers, etc. In many cases, we will cover the full cost of the dental courses.

The GDC Number is a personal identification number assigned by the General Dental Council to each dentist within the United Kingdom. Before practicing any form of dentistry, it is mandatory that you first register with the GDC and obtain your GDC Number.

To maintain your GDC Number you must pay the ‘ARF’ each year and complete a minimum number of ‘CPD’ hours.

If you graduated from within the EU/EEA with a primary dental qualification that was taught and examined in English, then you are automatically suitable.

If you graduated from within the EU/EEA with a primary dental qualification that was taught and examined in a foreign language then you are still suitable, but you may be required to pass the IELTS Academic assessment.

If you graduated from outside the EU/EEA, then we require you to first pass both parts of the ORE exam before we can automatically enrol you on our programme.

The current waiting time commonly ranges anywhere between 2 to 6 months. It largely depends on the number of GDC caseworkers available and who in particular is handling your case as some caseworkers can be faster than others.

The locations offered depend on both the availability at the time and the preferences of each associate. We ensure each associate has a minimum of four locations to choose from before they decide to make a commitment.

Performer Numbers are issued to each dentist through the local NHS Area Team upon obtaining registration on the NHS Performers List. The Performer Number is necessary to practice NHS Dentistry or before to provide treatment for patients under an NHS Contract.

You are exempted from undertaking IELTS or providing any proof of English proficiency if you meet any of the following two conditions:

1) It has been less than two years since you graduated with a dental degree that was taught and examined in English.

2) You hold the citizenship of a country where the native language is English e.g. USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand etc.

Yes, you can.

Yes, you can still apply. We understand that some universities can take up to a year to provide you with your official degree and sometimes even longer. As long as you have a provisional, temporary or mock degree, then we can start your application process.

Yes, if you have passed both parts of the ORE exam, then we can consider you for the programme and provide you a suitable practice offering a PLVE mentor so you can obtain your Performer Number.

No. We can start your application from wherever you are. As long as we can obtain your necessary documentation and signatures, location does not matter.

Yes! If you have passed both parts of the ORE exam, then we can consider you for the programme. However, it is important to know that your choices of clinics will be more limited as clinics that employ you will need to offer PLVE mentorship. You will be able to discuss this with our recruitment coordinators.
